Soverel Marina Awarded Federal Grant for Pumpout System

The Clean Vessel Act (CVA), passed by Congress in 1992 to reduce pollution from vessel sewage discharges, established a grant program for the construction and installation of sewage pumpout facilities throughout the country. In Florida, the program is administered through the Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
